DaddyScrubs is the offspring of Robert Nickell, who fathered his first four children more than 20 years ago. DaddyScrubs was conceived when Robert, who remarried in 2007, discovered he was about to be a father all over again in the fall of 2009!
Not wanting to endure the pains of wearing uncomfortable street clothes while comforting his laboring wife, Robert hatched the idea of creating doctor-like scrubs for himself. It seemed a natural thing for him to do, since Robert is a pharmacist by profession.
To eliminate the confusion between “who’s the doctor” and “who’s the daddy,” Robert fashioned the concept of “I’m The Daddy” medical scrubs.

When Daddy’s away—who’s there to play? DaddyBear is a plush toy for young children to cuddle with while Daddy is at work or away. This adorable toy with its soft, rich fur and warm navy I’m the Daddy T-shirt makes for the perfect first teddy bear! Now who’s ready for a bear hug?
Daddy Bear loves spending time with his little cub while they hike, raft, climb and explore. Just like Daddy Bear, you too can enjoy spending time with your child while you read this story, and others in the series, together, sharing smiles and laughter while learning what it is Daddy Bear loves most of all.
My first impression of DaddyScrubs was with the great customer service person I had been in contact with. Second was the quick delivery! Everything was boxed in a neat and orderly manner. (I have a pet peeve about items I purchased being “tossed” into a box to be banged around all across the US).
Upon taking the products out of the delivery box I was also impressed with the quality of each item. The DaddyScrubs fabric is of a heavy weight. The more they’re washed the softer they become. Making them the ideal comfort clothing for the long nights ahead. The T-shirt was super soft even before washing. I can imagine having a hard time deciding whom shall wear it next.
The board book for a baby’s first book is absolutely adorable. Good construction for those early years of chewing and well… being a little over zealous with books as we know all little one are.
The teddy bear is just the perfect size for the wee little ones to grip and carry around without becoming unbalanced with a cumbersome large toy.
Over all I give DaddyScrubs a two thumbs up! I would highly recommend them to family and friends.
