I have been given the opportunity to review a PonyUP Kentucky Bag. I can honestly say I love my handbag’s. Just the perfect size to toss in my need to have items as I head out the door. Casual enough to go with everyday attire – mine is… jeans. The interior pockets are a great help for organizing. I had a slight mishap with my bag involving the sticky hands of a toddler… a damp cloth cleaned it right up. I now own a summer floral bag as well as a bag in brown tones for winter!
The great thing about purchasing a second bag. I can order the bag of my choice and just move my existing shoulder strap to my new bag.
Leather Shoulder Straps
All PonyUP! Kentucky bags–both Handbags and Travel Bags–feature our special shoulder straps and brass nameplates. The shoulder strap of each handbag is created from the headstall of a genuine leather horse halter, featuring a single personalized brass nameplate and fitted with the traditional brass buckles and brass swivel snaps on each side. Like a halter, the shoulder strap features five hole-punches on each end so that its length can be adjusted by moving the buckles. The width of the shoulder strap is 1 inch. From end to end, the shoulder strap can be shortened to approximately 22 inches and lengthened in one-inch increments to approximately 30 inches.
Brass Nameplates
The brass nameplates are 1/2 inch wide by 3 inches long. You can have your nameplate engraved with the name of your horse, the name of your farm, or your own name—whatever makes you the happiest. Your nameplate can be engraved with up to 20 characters, including letters and spaces.
Brass Swivel Snaps
All of our PonyUP! Kentucky handbags and travel bags feature these swivel snaps. You can detach the brass swivel snaps at the end of the shoulder strap from the brass grommets on the sides of the handbag for cleaning or to use your shoulder strap with another PonyUP! Kentucky handbag.
