Lets start out by saying I received excellent customer service. When our Stella doll arrived it was sealed in a plain brown box, which is excellent if you will be giving your purchase from Manhattan Toy as a gift! Think birthdays and Christmas. I was delighted with this feature, because I had originally planed to put this doll back for a gift after I had “played/tested” for a little while ; ) Well I played, and then I just knew my granddaughter would fall in love with Stella so I gifted her a wee bit early (pre-birthday).
My granddaughter spent the day with me alone (aka without big brother) so I decided it was the perfect day to enjoy the expression on her precious face when she had her first look at Stella. The picture pretty much says it all. She was ecstatic the entire day.
I loved so may features of our new Stella Doll. The fact that the binky was so easy for her little hands to manipulate. With a magnet in each the doll and the binky. She just moved it close to Stella’s face and pop, it was in place! So much easier than me reinserting the hard to maneuver binky over and over on our previous doll(s).
The baby doll’s body and cloths are so soft an cuddly. The shape of the body is absolutely so cute. The legs and arms look just enough like real to give Stella an overall great look. The hair is my book is #1. Because we have had so may dolls over the years of my own children and now grandchildren that just did not hold up well. Stella’s hair is sturdy and will not end up falling out way before it’s time.
The last thing I want to touch on is cleaning. Well as any parent or grandparent knows messy fingers are a main stay in all toddlers lives. I’m happy to say Stella washed up beautifully! We had a mishap with milk. Well, we know if I had not washed our baby doll she would have taken on a rather strong odor all her own. I tossed Stella in the wash with a few light-colored cloths and washed her on gentle. When she was done washing, I placed her on a rack to air dry. She came out none the worse for wear and back in the business of keeping my granddaughter happy!

**Hint/Help: When you retweet (#RT) for an entry. In order for that entry to count you must include the proper link so we can verify. Looking at the picture below… Do you see “16h” in grey? You will need to right-click on YOUR twitter link you just posted and then copy and paste the link in the rafflecopter form. Many of you do not, you copy the link from the top of your page. I can not verify from that link. So… I am left with choosing a new winner. To make it easy on myself. When I click the tweet button in the rafflecopter form. BEFORE I hit the tweet button I right-click on my name at the top of the form an open my twitter page in a new tab. Then after I have hit the tweet button. I click on my twitter tab. Sorry this is so confusing. I’m looking into a different entry app for future use in my giveaways. Until them hang with me a little longer.
