Today Is My 50th Birthday and I Wish To Celebrate With You!
I would like to share a few humorous “Over the Hill” poems and quotes.

A Living Success
Welcome to the beginning,
of youth of old age.
Wrinkles and hair loss,
have escaped from their cage.
To look back at the past,
there’s no rational aim.
Gravity is winning,
the fight with your frame.
This 50th celebration,
was not a request.
For family and friends,
it’s simply a test.
All of your moves,
they’ll examine precisely,
and measure your waistline,
not very nicely.
From this day forward,
if you showcase ambition.
You’ll certainly require,
the doctor’s permission.
Just take it easy,
there’s no need to stress.
In the 17th century,
you’d been a living success.

Banned Birthday Poem
I’ve been banned form having birthdays
A new rule has been made
Signed, sealed and delivered
By the local Fire Brigade!
They say that all those candles
Would create such a blaze
They’d have to come and put it out
And stay around for days!
So, I guess I’ll have to party
Without the birthday cake,
Perhaps I’ll light one candle
Just for old time’s sake,
Those firemen! So fit and strong,
Such handsome looking men -
Whose birthday is it, anyway?
Let’s light them all again!
