One of the most disappointing things after a long day at the task of doing laundry is… Clothing that does not smell as fresh the very next day!
I work hard to make sure our clothing is sorted, laundered and put away with care. Only to find some items may not have that fresh laundered smell. When I pull out a clean toddler blanket for nap time I prefer to smell the fresh scent of laundry.

Me being me and a little skeptical about the out come of our not so fresh toddles clothing and blankets. I say skeptical only because… You will need a little background on this one. One of my granddaughters carries (OK drags) around an over-sized cuddle – security blanket. Which is perfectly fine don’t get me wrong. However, after a few days of being dragged everywhere and I do mean everywhere. It is dirty and well not so sweet smelling. I decided the blanket would be one the first items I would try my new Purex Crystal for Baby on.
I tossed in the blanket into the washer (and this is a battle most days), then started my wash water. In which I added my laundry detergent and then half the amount of crystals as recommended (both in the first wash cycle). This is because I’m highly sensitive to scents and wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to need a tissue daily until said blanket was washed once again.
When I opened the lid to the washer to place the items over into the dryer I was pleasantly greeted with the light floral and powder scent.
Upon removing the blanket from the dryer she was rubbing her little nose over the edge (this is one of her security quirks). She looked at me for a moment (I’m holding my breath hoping it passes the sniff test) and then she says “Mm-mm”. An off she goes to play.
So I’m giving the New Purex Crystals for Baby a big thumbs up. The only thing I would recommend is warm water in your wash cycle. I tried both cold wash and rinse and I found a few crystals not dissolved at the end of the washers cycles. However we have well water an in the winter time it’s really cold.

I throw in oxy clean in every load with Purex!! Get rid if the stains!!!
