We each have them, guilty pleasures. Maybe hidden or perhaps you think they are. Or right out there bold and loud for all the world to see.
Some of mine are well let’s say hidden but I know others “know” about my habits. Then I have others that I’m a little stubborn about and I really don’t care who may or may not like.
Here’s a list of a few of my guilty pleasures. In no particular order.
Coffee: I’m not a coffee connoisseur by any means but I do know what I like. I almost always never order coffee in a restaurant. I like a mild smooth cup of joe with just the right amount of creamer (creamer not milk or powders yuck that has been in a dispenser for who knows how long).

Books: Reading is one of my favorite things to do. I tend to become a wee bit grumpy if I’m interrupted while read a great book. Yes, I feel guilty if I read for too long. So I’ve developed a habit of reading each night before I fall asleep (an any free time I can spare).
Nutella: Hazelnut spread. Seriously hand me a jar and a bagel and I’m good. What ever you do, do not read the calorie/fat count (per 2 tbsp. who are they kidding) or you will not enjoy your snack.
Music: I enjoy rock music starting in the 60′s and moving into today. Although not nearly as much as the classic rock.

Dancing: Ah this was one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I would always feel bad when I went out dancing (a mom thing). I still think about dancing but my legs are just not up to the task. Besides I might clear the dance floor if I start swinging my arm crutch around.
Take Out: When my children were home I cooked for a group of 7 (seven) now I cook for one sometimes two. Not much fun in that. I like to grab takeout on the weekend for a change (since I’m not really a meat and potatoes gal and Mr. is…).
Sappy Old Movies: I like the old black and white moves as well as so many others that the list would be long!

Peace and Quite: Oh, this one is a must. I have always, always enjoyed the sound of…. silence. Seriously after a large gathering of people I just need to decompress alone in a very quite spot. Sometimes others my think something is “wrong”, but truly I just need some quite time.
Yoga Pants: Yoga pants, who knew? Seriously I do not (although maybe I should) preform yoga. However these little gems are so super comfy. I like wearing them to clean house, relaxing, when I’m not feeling well. But I must say for the record I have never and I will never ever wear then in public. What is up with people wearing pajamas to the supermarket?
T.V.: That’s right I’m addicted to weekly television programs. For instance lets start with one of my favorites… The Big Bang Theory (love this one). Along with 2 Broke Girls, NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, Bones, Parenthood and Castle. Most of which I watch online at my convenience.

Geek: Where do I start… Marvel Comics among others. Retro and vintage. Classic sitcoms and movies. Libraries (I lose track of time when I’m in the library).

Wine: Last but not lest one of my favorites… Wine! Again not a connoisseur but I do know what I like. This one is guilty because sometimes I drink wine with I’m stressed out* (family arguments or health issues = stress*). Also to relax at the end of the day or enjoy with dinner.
Now that I’ve laid out a few things for everyone to see. I really don’t feel so guilty. Some of the items listed above may cause members of my family or friends to roll their eyes (music lol) but I don’t care. Life is short live it!
Everyone needs time unto themselves.

We all have guilty pleasures.
Sadly, most of them I no longer feel guilty about. lol. Like Coffee! Maybe we should just call that a ‘deserving’ pleasure because after the day is done… and well before the day even starts … we really deserve that cup.
